Talphis are molelike people from Vesk-4, known for subterranean craftsmanship and connections to their dense, high-gravity world. Their traditions explore relationships between moons, planetary forces and stone, while glowing, mildly radioactive plants and dyes contribute to their distinctive material culture. They are agile travellers whose appearance can conceal surprising speed. Many favour movement and exploration, whether through familiar tunnels or somewhere entirely new. Solid rock is less of a conversation stopper than it is for most visitors.
