STARFINDER GALAXY MAP.
A whole galaxy. One place to start. Explore Desna’s Path with our free interactive Starfinder galaxy map: find a destination, open its dossier and follow your curiosity beyond the Pact Worlds.
Explore the mapCHART YOUR NEXT JUMP.
Search for a world, select a star system or switch the feature layers to explore regions and named travel routes. For the most room to navigate, open the atlas full screen.
Use the map’s catalogue and search to explore. If the embedded map does not load, open the public atlas directly.
WHAT IS DESNA’S PATH?
Desna’s Path is the galaxy of the Starfinder setting. The Pact Worlds are one part of that much larger canvas: beyond them lie other inhabited systems, rival powers, remote settlements and unexplored territory.
This interactive atlas turns the published galactic chart into a resource you can explore. Move from the broad galactic view into individual systems, then open location dossiers for worlds, stations and other points of interest. It is built for finding inspiration, getting your bearings and bringing a campaign’s destinations into focus.
WHERE WILL YOU GO FIRST?
Start close to home with Absalom Station and the Pact Worlds, visit the Ghavaniska system or look farther afield for an unfamiliar destination. The atlas also includes separate layers for large-scale features, political regions, fleets and named routes. Each entry keeps its identity: a station is not quietly turned into a planet, and a map symbol is not treated as a measured star.
A QUICK FLIGHT BRIEFING.
Find your destination
Use the atlas search to find a named location. Select a result to open its dossier and bring it into view.
Change your perspective
Zoom out to understand the wider chart, then enter a system to explore its named worlds and stations. Switch feature layers on or off to make the view easier to read.
Take it to the table
Use the public map while preparing or exploring the setting. For a campaign with discoveries, visibility controls and linked Journal notes, use the Astrochart in your Datapad.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE ORBIT.
Is this a Starfinder Second Edition galaxy map?
The atlas uses Galaxy Guide and Player Core information for its Second Edition foundation. Selected destinations also have clearly labelled First Edition archive background from Near Space. Newer Second Edition information takes precedence when the accounts differ.
Does the map show exact distances or travel times?
No. Galactic positions follow the relative arrangement of the published chart. System layouts, spacing and displayed sizes are schematic. The map helps you explore the setting; it does not calculate astronomical distances, orbital mechanics or journey times.
Can I use the map without a Datapad account?
Yes. The public Starfinder map is free to explore without signing in. Campaign discoveries, private notes and GM controls stay in the separate Datapad view.
Is this the official Desna’s Path map?
This is an unofficial fan-made interactive atlas, rather than an official Paizo product or a reproduction of the poster. It is a companion to the setting books, with source references in its location dossiers.
A CHART WITH PROVENANCE.
The main references are Starfinder Galaxy Guide and Starfinder Player Core (Paizo, 2025), including the Desna’s Path map. Near Space (Paizo, 2020, First Edition) supplies selected archival background. Descriptions are written in our own words, with proper names retained and individual source credits shown in the atlas.
Unlabelled locations stay unlabelled. Illustrative layouts are identified, and older background is marked as an archive account. The aim is a useful, readable exploration resource that makes the distinction between published information and schematic presentation clear.
