Leshies are spirits inhabiting vessels made from plants or fungi, often shaped in the likeness of familiar creatures. Their forms can reflect the astonishing variety of alien ecosystems. With each incarnation, much of their earlier experience falls away, leaving an old spirit free to meet the universe anew. Many care for environments and form families through shared values. Others travel to discover what nature looks like beneath a different sun. There is considerably more of it than fits in a flowerpot.
