Lashuntas are antenna-bearing humanoids from Castrovel with innate psychic abilities and adaptable development. Traditionally, individuals choose between damaya and korasha forms at puberty, associated with different physical and mental specialisations. Modern lashuntas also challenge that binary and explore other possibilities. Their cultures value development and self-reflection without producing identical lives. A lashunta's chosen form can be significant, but it does not write their profession, politics or personality on their behalf.
