Izalguuns are large, six-limbed people who can stand upright with four arms or use their lower arms to help move on all fours. Their origins lie in the Scoured Stars, but different populations have taken markedly different paths since leaving. Community, survival and difficult relationships with their past are important themes. Outsiders should be cautious about assuming that a society's chosen relationship with technology reflects ignorance. Sometimes people understand exactly what they are choosing to leave behind.
