Kalos are aquatic people from Kalo-Mahoi, with translucent swimming membranes, sensory tendrils and a strong tradition of creative expression. Their cities flourish around geothermal warmth beneath the sea, while a history of resisting oppression sustains respected martial traditions. Many personalise their equipment and appearance with considerable flair. On land, their aquatic breathing requires appropriate support. Good expedition planning therefore includes life support, alongside the important question of whether it clashes with the rest of the outfit.
