Osharus are sluglike people from Pabaq whose university-cities shelter them from a harsh environment. Scientific enquiry, magical research and religious devotion often reinforce one another in their cultures. Their physical vulnerabilities encourage careful planning, while their intellectual curiosity can carry them far beyond the safety of home. They seek meaning through understanding. An osharu expedition member may consider checking the environmental readings three times entirely compatible with a deeply adventurous spirit.
