Novians are sentient fragments born from the deaths of stars: compact beings of plasma and flame with powerful gravitational properties. They awaken into a universe they can explore through flight and manipulation of the forces around them. Many are exuberant, competitive and fond of attention, though a stellar origin does not demand one particular personality. They offer a striking perspective on mortality and renewal. For a novian, calling someone the light of the room can become unusually literal.
